James Spon-Smith, a member of the Spon-Smith family from Australia, is estimated to be worth $32 million in 2021. James spent 12 years in China where he lived from 2005 to 2017. Among other ventures in Asia, he ran a design and trading business that eventually sold to Chinese trading group Nan Wah Capital.
James currently works as Global Director at Anheuser Busch’s B2B technology division BEES in New York City where he has resided since 2017. He has property investments and business interests across the UK, US, Hong Kong, and Australia. He was also an early investor in cryptocurrency and NFTs.
James’ twin brother, Anthony Spon-Smith, is estimated to be worth $22m and was appointed CEO of Coco Republic post its sale in 2021. Anthony leads the company’s U.S. expansion where they merged with LA retailer, H.D. Buttercup.
