The worldwide music recording business continues to rise. Recorded music income increased in 2015, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), following nearly two decades of piracy-driven reductions.
The worldwide industry’s sales peaked at $14 billion in 2014 but have since grown to $20 billion in 2019, matching 2004 levels.
This means that there are many record-label production companies that are taking advantage of its growth.
However, looking for the best music production company that will actually help artists in this industry is not an easy task.
Jacqueline Best, an artist, and musician herself wanted to offer help that all independent artists would need. So she created Predominant Studios. It is one of the companies that is set to soar in the music industry in 2022, offering expertise in the field as well as fostering an ethos that prioritizes assisting musicians in an industry where competition is stiff and there is little to no support for some artists.
Predominant has only been operating for a year, but in that short time has become a hub for many musicians, with artists already approaching the firm to either sign them or help them handle their arrangements with other indie companies.
Predominant has now signed 17 music recording artists and 45 independent artists so far, with many more to come.
Additionally, Predominant has signed as partner and CEO Chris “The Glove” Taylor, a pioneering multi-platinum producer, as its Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Taylor has collaborated with huge names like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg.
The company also grew by 85% in just three months.
Because of Predominant’s goal and genuine service, there is no doubt that this music production will become one of the best companies in the industry.
